PROJECT DIRECTOR AND FINANCIAL MANAGER’S INTRODUCTION A subgrantee receiving National Park Service funding must comply with the provisions of the Historic Preservation Grants Manual and other applicable federal and state regulations. The purpose of this “Manual” is to provide general guidelines, define responsibilities and requirements that will assist the project director and the financial manager in management of their grant. The contents of this manual are based on the National Park Service’s Historic Preservation Fund Grants Manual, 1997 Release, as amended.
